What is P.C.D
P.C.D. short for Post Carnival Depression is a phenomenon that usually afflicts Trinidad & Tobago Carnival participants. An annual epidemic, this disease wreaks havoc on both the young and the old soon after Trinidad carnival. Every year we at ShorBlu put together a team of the worlds Soca Music & Entertainment experts with the sole purpose of providing a cure for this debilitating and devastating disease that can literally brings ones happy existence to a disastrous and depressing halt.

Symptoms include but are not limited to
Depression, feelings of loss and despair, lack of desire to return to work or to one’s native country (if you don’t live in Trinidad), intense desire to return to “The Road”, attend more carnival/soca parties, participate in heaving drinking & winning even though carnival has long since been over. To get a better idea of P.C.D. we interviewed some patients, here are some of their issues in their own words.
